Asociación Civil Armonía was founded in 1996 to work towards bird conservation in Bolivia. The focus on birds comes emphasizes their importance as bioindicators for the health of our environment, and for that reason, Armonía’s impact reaches further than just bird conservation.
After researching the status of Bolivian species, Armonía plans conservation activities in accordance with the natural and sociocultural context. Armonía works throughout the country, conserving Andean habitats, Inter-Andean valleys and lowlands.
We can all contribute to the conservation of biodiversity, whether or not we are professionals working in the environmental arena. You can make a difference by changing daily habits, becoming more aware of your actions’ effects on the environment, and supporting causes like Armonía’s.
